   High-Precision, SIL-classified, Dual-Input HART Transmitters
KROHNE's temperature division, INOR, has introduced IPAQ C520 and R520, two temperature transmitters in the new generation IPAQ Line. The R520 and R520S(SIL-classified) are universal, isolated, dual-input temperature transmitters, approved for Non-Incendive use in Ex-Zone 2. The R520X and R520XS (SIL-classified) are Intrinsically Safe versions for use in Ex-Zone 1 and 2. The transmitters are programmable directly from PC or via the HART communication.

New Pump Handles Pipelines up to 24" in Diameter
The Imo 8L-912Y pump can be installed on pipelines up to 24" in diameter and can cost-effectively transport more than 85,000 barrels of oil per day at pressures to 2,000 pounds per square inch. The hydraulic principle behind screw pump operation delivers both high volumetric and high overall operating efficiencies with long mean time between repairs and ease-of-maintenance features.

Hydrostatic Pressure Tester Uses Temperature Compensated Sensors
The YTA110 high performance temperature transmitter that accepts Thermocouple, RTD, ohms or DC milivolts inputs and converts them to a 4-20 mA DC signal. The YTA110 supports either BRAIN or HART communication protocol. It is certified by TUV as complying with SIL2. The microprocesser-based sensing technology ensures long-term accuracy and high reliability. The dual-compartment housing is idesal for harsh environments.

Biometric Pushbutton Reliably Restricts Machine Access
Based on fingerprint recognition, Schneider Electric’s new Harmony biometric switch reliably restricts machine access. Able to authenticate and authorize/refuse operator access in less than one second, with a false acceptance rate of less than 0.1%, the switch is able to store up to 200 different fingerprints. It facilitates operator access because it eliminates the need for keys and badges, and has an acceptance rate of over 98% the first time it reads a fingerprint. This rugged switch has a high resistance to mechanical shock and vibration, an optional protective cover and a high intensity LED.
