Thermoplastic pulsation dampener and surge suppressor

The Series PDS from Plast-O-Matic Valves is designed to steady a pulsing flow caused by diaphragm pumps, piston pumps, peristaltic pumps and other quick flow interrupting equipment. It will also steady a vibrating pointer of a pressure gauge or flow meter under flowing conditions. Features include a surge suppressor that absorbs shocks and vibrations and a Water Hammer Arrestor that eliminates dangerous pressure spikes caused by quick closing valves. The Inlet Stabilizer enhances pump performance and longevity and an Accumulator releases stored fluid during unwanted pressure drops. The Expansion Tank protects the system from thermal volume increases.
