Calgarians urged to March for Prosperity at noon today

Don Horne

Canada Action and Rally4Resources are asking everyone to show their support and March for Prosperity today, from noon to 1 p.m.

“Families need to know they have the support of the federal government. We need market access but Bills C-48 and C-69 will crush any aspirations of building new pipelines,” states Canada Action on their website. “We are calling on everyone to show their support for our natural resource sector and for the all of the prosperity it provides to Canadian families.”

When:   Today, leaving at 12 noon and ending around 1 p.m.

Where:   The march begins in the Eau Claire area out front of the YMCA between the Eau Claire mall, Calgary, Alta. We will march down 3rd street, and head east down 8th Ave eventually ending at city hall.

“Please arrive by 11:45 a.m., the event will begin at 12 sharp. Bring a sign, but please remember this event is about our economy and getting Canadians back to work,” states Canada Action. “Please be respectful and positive. If you have one, please wear you Canada Action shirt or hoodie. An additional reminder is that this is not a Yellow Vest event and is non-partisan.”
