Clearview Resources Ltd. has completed the acquisition of Bashaw Oil Corp. through the amalgamation of Bashaw as its subsidiary.
According to the company press release, the acquisition also brings a change to the Board of Directors of Clearview.
Tony Angelidis has been appointed as President and CEO of Clearview, having been at Bashaw since early 2017. Angelidis was a co-founder of both Renata Resources Inc. and Prize Energy Corp. and has been an officer and director of publicly listed oil and gas companies since 1993.
Joining Angelidis at Clearview is Brian Kohlhammer as Vice President Finance and CFO. Kohlhammer. He also comes from Bashaw, and has worked at Delphi Energy Corp. and Renata Resources Inc. with Angelidis.
Darcy Ries has been appointed as Vice President Engineering and COO, having also worked at Bashaw since early 2017 alongside Angelidis.
As part of the amalgamation, the Board of Directors of Clearview have added Timothy Halpen, P. Eng., to its board.
