Election Dialogues an early primer for the upcoming Global Petroleum Show

As this year’s 51st edition of the Global Petroleum Show draws closer, the first stop is the Global Petroleum Show 2019 Election Dialogues on February 26.

The launch of the Election Dialogues will be a lead-up to the provincial and federal elections that will bring together key policy-makers and interest groups to discuss the key issues facing our industry today and the impact of the upcoming elections on the future of energy industry.

On the evening of Thursday, Feb. 26, there will be a timely conversation with a panel of guests including pollster and political commentator Janet Brown, Global News host Ryan Jespersen, and award-winning journalist Emma Graney.

This lively group will be moderated by former federal Cabinet Minister and New West Public Affair’s Principal, the Hon. Monte Solberg.

Highlighting the evening’s discussion will be the release of exclusive polling results conducted by Janet Brown Opinion Research on Albertan’s opinions on the pipeline to tidewater policies of the United Conservative Party and the Alberta New Democratic Party.

The evening will begin with a cocktail reception, followed by panel presentations and discussions of the major energy issues that will undoubtedly be at the forefront of both the upcoming Alberta and federal elections.
