As fears over the spread of COVID-19 virus continues to have organizers of sporting events and trade shows either cancelling or postponing shows, The Global Energy Show in June has a simple message:  all systems are go.

“Our present status with regard to the COVID-19 virus remains unchanged. At this time our events are taking place as scheduled unless advised otherwise,” states a press release on the show’s website.

“Please rest assured that the health and safety of our exhibitors, visitors and staff is our number one priority. Our teams are actively monitoring the COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak, in line with local and national authorities, public health advice and WHO guidelines. Our current policies reflect those of the country authority in which our events take place.”

Delegates and exhibitors are being urged to refer to the guidelines and protocols as suggested by the WHO www.who.int and local /national public health authorities to contain and mitigate against any further spread of the virus.

While persevering with the show, organizers are urging caution for those who may be exhibiting symptoms.

“If you have any concerns regarding travel restrictions, inbound or outbound quarantine, or are feeling unwell, please do reconsider your attendance at the event.”

(Editor’s note:  Please continue to check on the Global Energy Show’s website and in our Events calendar to see if there are any changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic)
