With climate change and anti-pipeline protests on the front pages across the nation, greenhouse gas management has become top-of-mind for the oil and gas industry.

Kim Code, vice president, Canada Unconventionals at Shell, will be diving deep into the subject of GHG management at the Operational Excellence in Energy, Chemicals & Resources Summit this June 4-6 in Calgary, Alta., sharing her insights on how Shell is driving operational excellence in upstream development – specifically about Shell’s innovative well pad design.

Some of the other topics that will be addressed include:

  • How to use Machine learning and AI for equipment condition monitoring and predictive analytics;
  • How leading-edge oil and gas operators use reality capture to optimize safety, efficiency and environmental responsibility in their operations;
  • Leveraging of artificial intelligence to target skills of the future and proactively build skills ahead of the pace of technology change; and
