SEEPEX SCT – Smart Conveying Technology

SEEPEX SCT (Smart Conveying Technology) on SEEPEX pumps, means quick maintenance, significantly reduced life cycle costs and the shortest possible maintenance downtime. The design of SCT enables the rotor/stator sealing line to be adjusted to suit the application and compensate for wear, leading to more than double the lifetime of the rotor and stator. SCT also shortens the maintenance time on the rotor and stator by up to 85%. SEEPEX pumps with SCT are successfully used in virtually all industries, applications and media.

Alpha Controls & Instrumentation -
STAHL PurgEx Indicators & Controllers

Purged and pressurized systems are an ideal method of explosion protection where components internal to the enclosure cannot be specifically rated for the area. They provide a light weight, corrosion resistant alternative to traditional explosion proof enclosures. The protection concept maintains an above atmospheric pressure within the enclosure not allowing hazardous gas and/or dust to enter and to come into contact with possible sources of ignition. Download R.STAHL's Electrical Catalogue to learn more about PurgEx Indicators & Controllers as well as other NEC and CEC explosion proof and explosion protected electrical products.

Tundra Solutions - Safety Through Complete Pressure Management: Farris

Pressure Relief Valves provide protection of life and of the facility (and property within it). When an overpressure condition exists, a pressure relief valve will open and allow overpressure discharge from the pressurized equipment. Overpressure may exist for a variety of reasons. Depending on the situation, these occurrences can be independent of one another, or they may occur at the same time. They can be the cause of large or small fluid releases, and care must be taken to ensure that a maximum relief scenario is addressed.

TURCK Chartwell -
Hybrid Safety Block I/O Module for CIP Safety

Point level switch for the maximum degree of safety
Turck has announced the addition of the Hybrid Safety Block I/O Module for CIP Safety over EtherNet/IP to their industry leading lineup of fieldbus technology products. The hybrid safety concept from Turck combines both safety I/O and general purpose I/O in a single, rugged, on-machine, remote I/O device. The CIP Safety (TBIP) module expands the existing hybrid safety offering, which already includes an option for PROFIsafe over PROFINET.

Samson Controls
High Performance Ceramic Lined Valves

Abrasion from entrained solids in liquids, high viscosity slurries, pneumatic conveying, and many other demanding services can drastically reduce the life of most traditional valve styles. Where they fail, high-performance ceramic materials open up new opportunities. Ceramics prove to be beneficial wherever standard materials reach their limits with respect to wear resistance, corrosion, and high temperatures.
