licat Scientific MCD Series from Alpha Controls & Instrumentation is a bidirectional flow controller. It control flows into the process in one direction, and then switch directions. It can also control flow into a closed process, and then vent the volume with no need for additional bleed valves. The MCD series is very easy to use. With the local display, users can make changes to the configuration of the unit without the need for computers, complicated software or scripts. It is rated for accuracies of ±0.8% of reading, + 0.2% full scale. All of the MFC’s internal components are fixed in place, resulting in very little physical change inside the MFC. This means higher rates of consistency and repeatability of ±0.2% FS.
