Explosion-proof plug with tri-tap receptacle

Larson Electronics has announced the release of an explosion proof plug with tri-tap receptacle for outdoor and heavy-duty use. This durable extension cord is made from six inches of 12-gauge, three-conductor wire and equipped with a 15-amp rated explosion proof 5-15 male cord cap.
The EPP-3X-15A explosion proof plug is rated for use in Class I, Division 1 hazardous locations. This unit is made up of 6” of 12/3 SOOW cord terminated in a male NEMA 5-15, 15-amp rated, explosion proof cord cap. Operators can connect up to three devices via a tri-tap receptacle. This line cord is approved for hot work permit locations and allows operators to use non-explosion proof equipment in hazardous environments.
Larson Electronics’ explosion proof plug carries a voltage rating of 120V and a maximum amp rating of 15 amps. This six-inch unit weighs just 1.5 lbs and is suitable for use indoors and outdoors, for chemical manufacturing, food processing plants, cold storage, and more.
