Explosion-proof sign ideal for flammable work sites

Larson Electronics LLC, announced the release of a new explosion proof exit sign approved for use in Class I Division 2 work sites. This low-voltage fixture features an edge-lit panel that produces a total of 442 lumens from CreeX-Lamp XR-E LEDs and operates on 12 or 24 volt DC current, making this exit system ideal for exit locating in areas where explosion proof fixtures are required in warehouses, flammable work sites, processing plants and more.
The HAL–EXT-LE10 from Larson Electronics is an explosion proof LED exit sign that includes a built-in LED lamp that uses 8 watts. The LED lamp produce of total of 442 lumens of high-quality LED light from special CreeX-Lamp XR-E style bulbs. The clear sign has an edge-lit panel illuminated by the LED to ensure the sign can be detected in all lighting conditions. A red or green exit sign colour can be chosen, as well as a single-faced or double-faced model.
This acrylic panel, explosion proof LED exit sign carries an IP54 waterproof rating ensuring the sign is protected against high pressure water spray, as well as dust, dirt and oil – ideal for dusty and wet hazardous environments. The HAL–EXT-LE10 is designed for ceiling or surface mounting, and is compatible with end, top or back mounting for flexible installation.
