KROHNE, Inc. announces it will highlight the OPTIWAVE 5400 and OPTIWAVE 7400 radar level transmitters for liquids in chemical, oil and gas and power industries at the 2019 International Liquid Terminals Association’s (ILTA’s) Annual Operating Conference & Trade Show, June 3-5, at the George R. Brown Convention Center, in Houston, Texas.

Also to be showcased will be the OPTIMASS 2400 twin straight tube Coriolis flowmeter. Experts will be on hand to conduct a demonstration of the OPTIMASS 1400, a cost-effective twin straight tube Coriolis mass flowmeter for a wide range of standard applications with gases and liquids.

The OPTIWAVE 5400 and OPTIWAVE 7400 24 GHz radar level transmitters to be showcased are designed for specific industry needs, delivering reliable and accurate level measurement of liquids and solids, even in the most difficult applications. KROHNE offers an extensive choice of process connections, as well as lens, drop and horn antennas to suit all process and installation conditions.

The transmitters offer a measuring range from the antenna edge up to 328 feet (100 metres), with accuracy from ±0.08 inches (±2 millimeters). The OPTIWAVE transmitters can measure products with dielectric constants as low as 1.4, and feature a quick setup assistant for easy commissioning as well as an empty tank spectrum function for eliminating false reflections.

The OPTIMASS 2400 twin straight tube Coriolis flowmeter to be highlighted feature Entrained Gas Management (EGM), which means there is no loss of measurement with gas entrainment up to 100 percent of volume.

Experts will also be on hand to conduct an on-site demonstration of OPTIMASS 1400, a Coriolis mass flowmeter for universal applications and process control that can handle gases and liquids up to 6,235 pounds/minute or 170,000 kilograms per hour. The meter features EGM for liquid applications, enabling continuous and uninterrupted measurement of volume flow and mass, density, and temperature – even at difficult process conditions with 2-phase flow.
