Ultrasonic meter monitors slurry and sludge concentrations

Markland’s ultrasonic meter monitors slurry and sludge concentrations in tanks, clarifiers and pipes including re-circulation loops and automates sludge removal. It helps users optimize dry or liquid additive dosages for preferred slurry concentrations. It allows operators to program underflow pumps to shut off before sludge density becomes too thin, and adjust polymer dosages for preferred feed density and filter press variables for enhanced dewatering. The non-intrusive, in line pipe spool-piece sensor provides continuous %SS readings, unaffected by colour.
