Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will be in Calgary, Alta. today to speak at the Hyatt Regency Calgary from noon to 2 p.m., and Canada Action wants you there to show your support for the energy sector.

Canada Action is organizing a rally today, seeing Trudeau’s speaking engagement at the Hyatt as “a great opportunity to tell the Prime Minister we deserve BETTER!”

From the cancelation of the approved Northern Gateway Pipeline to the purchase of the Trans Mountain Pipeline project by taxpayers that have resulted in costly delays in construction, Canadians are frustrated, say organizers. All of these setbacks are further compounded by the devastating impacts of the Bill C-48 tanker ban, and now the problematic Bill C-69 debacle that would drive even more investment from the sector.

“Canada’s most important export industry is beleaguered like never before, and we are calling upon you to make your voices heard,” state organizers.
