ESI welcomes Bambaranda as interim CFO

ESI Energy Services Inc. has announced that Chief Financial Officer Ted Rigauxhas has resigned as of May 1, and will be replaced for the interim by Priyanka Bambaranda “until such time as a decision has been made regarding a successor.”

According to the press release from ESI, Rigauxhas has resigned for personal reasons, and is on parental leave until October 1, when he will return to the company.

Bambaranda has been employed by the Company since April 2013 as a Senior Accountant, progressing to Corporate Controller in October 2014. Prior to that, she held a number of senior accounting positions, including 10 years as a Senior Accountant with a major engineering and construction company.

Bambaranda has a Bachelor of Management Science Degree from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. She was a member of the Chartered Accountants Institute of Sri Lanka from 1994 to 1999.  She earned her Certified General Accounting Degree in June 2013 and is also a certified member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Alberta and Canada.
