Mass flow controller allows easy configuration changes

Alpha Controls & Instrumentation offers the Alicat MCD series bidirectional flow controller, which controls flow in one direction and then switches directions. It can also control flow into a closed process, then vent the volume with no need for additional bleed valves. With the local display, users can make changes to the configuration of the unit without the need for computers, complicated software or scripts. They're rated with accuracies of +/-(0.8% of reading + 0.2% of full scale). Alicat’s technology allow its mass flow controllers to have very few moving parts. All of the internal components are fixed in place resulting in very little physical change inside the unit. Little physical change in the flow cavity means higher rates of consistency and repeatability.
