These Amarex N pumps from KSB Pumps can be ordered with impellers with built-in cutters to reduce long pieces of fibrous material in the waste stream, vortex impellers for dealing with solids and dissolved gases, and screw-type impellers that feature contours designed to avoid catching fibrous material. These pumps also feature a unique one-piece (monobloc) motor housing design that ensures accurate bearing alignment for reduced vibration and longer seal and bearing lives. Completely leak-proof cable entries help lower maintenance costs by reducing the possibility of water in the motor chamber. Meanwhile, careful optimization of the hydraulic elements improves pumping efficiency and reduces energy costs. Amarex N pumps are available with capacities of up to 135 cubic metres per hour and heads as high as 47 metres. Special explosion-proof ATEX-certified versions are available for use in situations where there are high concentrations of flammable gases.
