Premier to deliver opening address at Oil Sands Show

The 34th annual Oil Sands Conference & Trade Show will once again rally the oil sands industry on September 10 & 11 at Suncor Community Leisure Centre, MacDonald Island, in Fort McMurray, Alta., with top leaders from all levels of government taking part.

On September 10, it will be Premier Jason Kenney delivering the Opening Address at the Keynote Luncheon.

Following the premier’s remarks, key industry leaders will be on a panel discussing The Future of Natural Resources in Canada.

Among the panel guests will be:

• Chief Allan Adam of Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation;
• Stephen Buffalo, President – Indian Resource Council;
• Chad Ford, President – Sunexo; and
• Deanna Burgart, President & Indigeneer – Indigenous Engineering Inclusion.

Following the panel, Amarjeet Sohi, Minister of Natural Resources, will deliver a Keynote Address to the audience.
